Creating and Managing Auto-Trigger Campaigns on Sendex

In this tutorial, we will explore how to create and manage auto-trigger campaigns using Sendex. Follow these steps to set up your campaign effectively.

Step 1: Access Auto-Trigger Campaigns

  • Navigate to the "Campaigns" section on Sendex.

  • Select "Auto-Trigger" to begin creating your campaign.

Step 2: Create an Auto-Trigger Campaign

  • Click on "Create Auto-Trigger Campaign" and assign a name for internal purposes.

  • Enter a subject line and enhance it using the AI subject line assistant by adding keywords and generating options.

  • Add preview text, which appears after the subject in the user's inbox.

  • Select a sender for your campaign. Ensure the sender's email domain is whitelisted. If not, add the domain and create a new sender.

Step 3: Choose an Editor

  • Select the type of editor you want to use. For this example, we will use the drag and drop editor.

  • Choose from thousands of templates available, such as New Year templates.

  • Customize the template by dragging and dropping content blocks like titles, paragraphs, buttons, images, etc.

  • Adjust text, colors, padding, and embed links as needed.

  • Add rows to divide content into multiple columns or specific layouts.

Step 4: Preview and Test Your Campaign

  • Preview your campaign in light mode, dark mode, and on different devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

  • Send a test email to see how the campaign appears in an actual inbox.

Step 5: Review and Trigger Conditions

  • Review the content for errors, which will be highlighted at the top if present.

  • Set trigger conditions for the campaign. Instead of scheduling, trigger it per contact using automation rules.

Step 6: Set Up Automation

  • Go to "Automate" and select "Automations" to create a new automation.

  • Name your automation and choose a trigger, such as a contact subscribing to a specific list.

  • Specify actions, such as sending the auto-trigger campaign with a delay if needed.

  • Start the automation to activate it.

Step 7: Monitor Campaign Performance

  • Access the campaign overview to see content details, subject line, sender, and performance metrics.

  • View overall stats, engagement over time, geo stats, device stats, and most clicked links.

  • Export contact data for further analysis.
