SendX
Updated on Feb 02, 2026
In this tutorial, we will explore how to create a Drip campaign and trigger it using Sendex. Follow these steps to set up your Drip campaign effectively.
Navigate to the Campaigns option on your Sendex dashboard.
Select Drip campaigns and choose Create campaign.
Enter a Drip name for internal purposes. This name will not be visible to your subscribers.
Select a sender. You can create a new sender by clicking Add a new sender, entering a name and email. Ensure the email's domain is whitelisted.
Choose the type of email editor: drag and drop editor, plain text editor, or Sendex AI editor.
Use the drag and drop editor to load your content section.
Add sequencing to your Drip campaign emails. The first email is added by default. Click Add email to include more steps.
Customize the timing for each email. For example, the first email can be sent immediately, the second after two days, and so on. Adjust delays in days, hours, or minutes, and set your preferred time zone.
Each Drip step is an individual email. Write a subject line and add preview text.
Use personalization tags to customize emails, such as including the contact's first name.
Utilize the drag and drop editor to choose content from the content pane or use templates from the template library.
Send a test email to review how your campaign's content appears in your inbox.
Ensure emails are active for them to be sent. Initially, all steps are in draft state.
Activate the necessary emails to ensure they are sent when a user subscribes to your Drip.
Enable the option to skip weekends, preventing emails from being sent on Saturdays and Sundays.
Track engagement using Google Analytics.
Preview the overall Drip campaign to ensure everything is set correctly.
Select a contact to simulate the Drip sequence and verify the timing of emails.
Once satisfied, save the Drip and make it active to start sending emails to subscribers.
In the next video, we will discuss how to trigger your Drip campaign. Thank you for following this tutorial.
