Updated on Aug 14, 2025
In this guide, we will learn how to address the "no custom footer" warning that appears while creating your emails. This warning indicates that your email's content section lacks an unsubscribed footer. If you proceed without adding one, the team's global unsubscribed footer will be automatically appended to your outgoing email.
Decide on the Footer:
If you are comfortable with the team's global unsubscribed footer, you can send your email as is. However, if you prefer to use a custom footer, follow the steps below.
Access the Content Section:
Navigate to the content section of your email. Here, the team's global unsubscribed footer will automatically appear at the bottom of your email.
Create or Add a Custom Footer:
You have the option to keep the global footer or replace it with your own custom footer. If you have a custom footer saved as a row, you can add it to your template. Alternatively, you can create a new custom footer from scratch.
Ensure Unsubscribe Functionality:
Make sure your custom footer includes the "unsubscribe" keyword with a link attached. This link should have the value of the global unsubscribe link.
Finalize and Continue:
Once your custom footer is added and verified, click on "Continue." This action will remove the warning, ensuring that no team global unsubscribed footer is added to your email. The content you have prepared will be sent out as intended.
That's it! You have successfully added a custom footer to your email. Thank you for watching.
