In this tutorial, we will learn how to stop a drip campaign when one of your subscribers replies to any of your drip emails. This process ensures that once a subscriber engages with your content by replying, they are automatically removed from the ongoing drip campaign.
Assuming you already have a drip campaign in place, let's say it consists of four emails. If a subscriber replies to any of these emails, you can configure the system to stop the drip for them.
Ensure that a trigger is set up for your drip campaign. For example, if a target is added to the "test drip" campaign, they will be included in the drip campaign.
Configure automation to handle replies. In the triggers section, you will find options not only for replies but also for when a contact opens, clicks, completes, or replies to a drip campaign.
Select the option for when a contact replies to your drip campaign.
Choose an action to remove that contact from the drip campaign. This means if a contact replies to the "test drip" campaign, they will be automatically removed from it.
With this automation in place, whenever any of your contacts replies to your drip emails, they will be removed from the drip campaign. This ensures that your engagement strategy is responsive and dynamic.
That's it. Thank you for following this tutorial.
