In this tutorial, we'll show you how to create a segment of unsubscribed contacts in just a few easy steps. Let's get started!

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Segment of Unsubscribed Contacts

1. Access the Audience Tab:
   • Begin by clicking on the Audience tab located in the navigation bar.
2. Select Segments:
   • From the drop-down menu, choose Segments.
   • Here, you can view all the segments you have created.
3. Create a New Segment:
   • To add a new one, simply click on the Create Segment button.
4. Name Your Segment:
   • Let's give our segment a name. In this case, we'll call it Unsubscribed Contacts.
5. Create a New Group:
   • A group is a set of conditions that contacts must meet to be part of the segment.
   • Click the New Group button to create a new group.
6. Choose Between 'Or' and 'And':
   • You have the option to switch between or and and when dealing with multiple groups.
   • With or, at least one of the group conditions must be met, whereas with and, all group conditions need to be satisfied.
   • Let's go with and for this example.
7. Add Conditions to the Group:
   • Begin by clicking on Add Condition to start with one.
   • Choose from various entities like contacts, lists, and newsletters. For this example, we'll select Contact.
8. Set the Condition:
   • Select Unsubscribed from all email communication from the drop-down list to set the condition for the segment.
   • Click on Yes to specify that the condition Unsubscribed from all email communication equals Yes.
9. Save the Condition:
   • Click Save to confirm the condition for the segment.
10. Preview the Contacts:
    • Select Update Contacts to view a preview of the contacts that align with your specified criteria.
    • Keep in mind that segments are dynamic, allowing contacts to automatically join or exit the segment depending on whether they fulfill the conditions.
11. Create the Segment:
    • Once you're happy with your segment, click Create Segment.
