How to Add DNS Records in Namecheap for SendX Domain Authentication

In this guide, you will learn how to add four DNS records in Namecheap to authenticate your sending domain in SendX. These records include DKIM, Return Path, Track, and DMARC.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access Domain Authentication in SendX

   Navigate to the Domain Authentication section in SendX and click on "Add Sending Domain". Select your domain from the list to expand its DNS records.

2. Add DKIM Record

   • In Namecheap, go to your domain list and click "Manage" next to your domain.

   • Click the "Advanced DNS" tab.

   • Click "Add New Record" and select "TXT Record" from the Record Type drop-down.

   • In SendX, click the Copy icon next to the DKIM record name and paste it into the Host field in Namecheap.

   • Copy the DKIM record value from SendX and paste it into the Value field in Namecheap.

3. Add Return Path Record

   • Click "Add New Record" again and select "Name Record" from the drop-down.

   • In SendX, click the Copy icon next to the Return Path, SP Bounce, record name and paste it into the Host field in Namecheap.

   • Copy the target value from SendX and paste it into the Value field.

4. Add Track Record

   • Click "Add New Record" again and select "Name Record" from the drop-down.

   • In SendX, click the Copy icon next to the Track, SP Track, record name and paste it into the Host field in Namecheap.

   • Copy the target value from SendX and paste it into the Value field.

5. Add DMARC Record

   • Click "Add New Record" one more time and select "TXT Record" from the drop-down.

   • In SendX, copy the DMARC record name and paste it into the Host field.

   • Copy the DMARC value from SendX and paste it into the Value field.

6. Save Changes and Verify

   • Click "Save All Changes" at the bottom of the Advanced DNS page in Namecheap.

   • Back in SendX, click the Refresh icon to verify your records. Green badges indicate that the records are confirmed.

Once all four records are set up, your domain will be authenticated for sending through SendX.
