This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating a segment for contacts whose lifetime value falls within a specified range.
Access the Audience Tab:
From the team dashboard, click on the Audience tab located in the top navigation bar.
Navigate to Segments:
Click on Segments to proceed to the segment screen.
Create a New Segment:
On the segment screen, click on Create Segment.
Name Your Segment:
Provide a name for your segment. For example, "Between $500 and $2,000" for contacts who have spent between $500 to $2,000.
Add a New Group:
Click on New Group and then click on Add Condition.
Select Contacts Entity:
Click on Choose an Entity and select Contacts.
Choose Lifetime Value Action:
Click on Choose an Action and scroll down to find the option called Lifetime Value.
The lifetime value of a contact is the aggregate of the revenue collected from platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, and Revenue API.
Set the Value Range:
Select the Lifetime Value option and provide a range. Remember, the minimum and maximum values are inclusive. For instance, a contact with exactly $500 of revenue will be included in the segment.
Set the minimum value to $500 and the maximum value to $2,000.
Save and Update Contacts:
Click on Save and then click on Update Contacts to view all the contacts for this segment.
Create the Segment:
Once you're satisfied with the contacts included, simply click on Create Segment.
And that's all you need to do to create a segment for contacts having a lifetime value between a specified range.
