Creating and Managing Custom Event Segments in SendX

Step-by-Step Guide
Creating a Custom Event Segment
- Navigate to the segment page.
- Click on the Create Segment button in the navigation bar.
- Enter a name for your segment in the name field.
- Click on the + New Group button to add a new condition group.
- Click on the + Add Condition button to add a new condition to the group.
- Select an entity from the drop-down menu under condition.
- Select Custom Events from the choose an entity drop-down menu.
- Choose an action by clicking on the Choose an Action drop-down menu.
- Select the Login event from the choose an action drop-down list.
- Set the condition by choosing Has Been Performed from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the number of times the action has been performed. For example, set the frequency to one to fetch all contacts who have performed login at least once.
- Click Save.
- Click on the Update Contacts button to refresh the contacts list.
Now, you should see the contacts who have performed the login event.
Editing the Segment for Multiple Logins
- Edit the segment by pressing the edit icon.
- Change the number of times the login has been performed to two.
- Click Save.
- Click on the Update Contacts button to see the new results.
Now, you will see contacts who have performed login at least twice.
Filtering Logins Within a Specific Time Frame
- Select Forever from the drop-down menu in the condition settings.
- Select In the Last from the drop-down menu in the condition settings.
- Specify the number of days over which the segment will evaluate the number of custom events. Change this value to two.
- Click Save to apply the changes to the condition.
- Click on the Update Contacts button in the contacts preview section.
Now, you will see a contact that performed multiple logins in the last two days.
Using Custom Event Properties
- Click on the Audience tab in the navigation bar.
- Select Segments from the drop-down menu under the audience tab.
- Click on the + Create Segment button in the top right corner to start creating a new segment.
- Enter a name for the segment in the name field, e.g., Login via Google.
- Click on the + New Group button to add a new group for segment conditions.
- Click on the + Add Condition button to add a new condition to the group.
- Select Custom Events from the drop-down menu.
- Select Login from the choose an action drop-down list.
- Click on Properties from the drop-down options.
- Click on the Select drop-down menu to define the properties of the condition.
- Select Via from the drop-down list.
- Select Equal from the drop-down options.
- Enter Google into the text field within the form.
- Click Save within the form.
- Click the Update Contacts button in the contacts preview section.
Now, you will see the contact which used Google to log into the system.
