Updated on Jan 29, 2026
In this guide, we will walk you through the process of creating and scheduling a newsletter campaign using SendX. Follow these steps to effectively reach your audience with a well-crafted newsletter.
From your team's dashboard, navigate to the Campaigns pane at the top.
Click on Newsletter, then select Create Newsletter to start a new campaign.
Campaign Name: Enter a name to identify the campaign within SendX. This name will not be visible to recipients.
Subject: Write a subject line that will appear in recipients' inboxes. Enhance it using the Subject Line AI assistant and add personalization with custom fields.
Preview Text: Add text that will appear after the subject in the inbox preview.
Sender Information: Choose or create a new sender for the campaign. Optionally, provide a reply-to email address.
Select from three editor options: Drag and Drop Editor, Print Text, or SendX Native AI Editor.
For this guide, we will use the Drag and Drop Editor.
Choose from over a thousand templates and customize your newsletter by dragging and dropping elements from the content pane.
Edit content and insert custom fields or merge tags as needed.
Preview your email in light and dark modes, and across different devices (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile).
Send a test email to see how it appears in your inbox.
Choose the recipients for your newsletter from lists, tags, and segments.
Optionally, exclude certain contacts, such as those in a "Threat Check Fraud" segment.
Validate the total recipient count before proceeding.
Review your campaign for any missed content or warnings.
Send another test email if necessary.
Choose from various scheduling options:
Send Now: Send the campaign immediately.
Send Later: Schedule the campaign for a specific date and time in a chosen time zone.
Send in Contacts Time Zone: Send based on each contact's time zone, with a fallback option.
Smart Send Option: Use historical data to determine the best time to send to each contact.
Enable tracking configuration, such as Campaign Click Report on Google Analytics.
For this guide, we will schedule the campaign for January 31st at 1am.
Congratulations! You have successfully created and scheduled your newsletter campaign. Thank you for watching.
