In this guide, we will walk through the process of creating and customizing a pop-up form using the SendX tool. Follow these steps to create an engaging and functional pop-up for your website.
Navigate to the pop-up section in SendX.
Click on Create pop-ups.
Once the page opens, name your pop-up.
Select a design for your pop-up. For this example, a specific design is chosen.
Customize the pop-up by changing the title and adding fields such as a name field.
Decide whether to keep it as a first name field or create a custom field.
Add checkboxes and drop-downs as needed.
Click on Checkbox and give it a title, e.g., "What are you interested in?"
Add options and assign tags to each option.
Click on Drop-down and add a title.
Add options such as "Weekly" or "Monthly".
Adjust the look of the title, description, input fields, and checkboxes.
Change the font size and style; for example, the "Inter" font is recommended.
Match the background of the pop-up to your theme and adjust button colors.
Ensure the font color is black and adjust the border color as needed.
Decide whom to show or hide the pop-up from and which pages to include or exclude.
Set the pop-up to appear on all pages or specific ones.
Determine when the pop-up should appear, such as on entering or exiting the website, scrolling a percentage, or after a set time.
In advanced settings, decide how often to show the pop-up, such as every page view, new session, or after a few days.
Set when to stop showing the pop-up.
Decide where to add the contact after filling out the pop-up, such as adding them to an existing list.
Create a list, such as "Subscribers", directly in the drop-down.
Choose what happens after displaying the success screen, like doing nothing, closing the pop-up, or redirecting to a URL.
Go to the embed instructions in SendX.
Copy the JavaScript provided.
Paste it below the body tag of your website.
Ensure your pop-up is active. Open your website to see how the pop-up looks in action. That's it! You've successfully created and customized a pop-up form using SendX.
